I'm Back!

Downtown Minneapolis

The Minneapolis trip went great! I had a fun time with Kate & Christopher, and hope that they last through the winter! It was cold while I was there but not too bad, you just needed to put on a few layers and you are fine. It snowed once while I was there, actually it was the day before I left. The snow was big and fluffy and so beautiful. I loved how quiet it was while it was snowing, it felt as if once people saw the snow they decided to just stay in. Which was great because we were able to have fun in it until we got cold.

Loring Park

I loved how everyone was so nice there, it was kind of strange at first because LA people are very me, me, me centered and the people there were pretty nice overall.  I was really surprised by how clean and nice the city was.  I was a far more diverse city than what I was expecting. Well not everyone was super nice we were harassed once by some strange guys standing on a corner. Meh, they were harmless. While at the same corner was a cop on his loudspeaker telling a jaywalker not to do what he was doing and immediately after commented on a guys Twins jacket. He said "Go Twins! Better luck next year" so random yet hilarious at the same time. 

Those are the types of things that make me miss my best friend the most, when really really strange stuff happens to us and I know that no one else in the world appreciates it better than her! It was nice seeing her and Christopher and their awesome new city. I had a lot of fun and hope to be able to come back in the summer and go to a baseball game. Also I want to go back to see everything green! I loved walking through Loring Park even though all of the leaves had fallen off all of the trees for the winter, I can only imagine how pretty this park looks in the summer! And even though I didn't get a picture of them, I want to go visit my squirrel friends that surrounded me in the park.
